Trimming the Tree and Holiday Fun!

Jailynn and Ivy's first time to Decorate a Christmas Tree. Ivy was amazed that we do this every year and undo it all after Christams. We explained the true meaning of christmas and the christmas tree.

By the way...the red skirt that Jailynn has on is actually the tree skirt that goes around the Christmas Tree! She was reluctant to take it off because she thought that she found a new christmas skirt!

My beautiful Anna!

We also went to the Gallaria Mall for Ice skating and shopping. This was Ivy's first time to Ice Skate and she learned very quickly. Jordyn and Jailynn are naturals on the ice. I am thinking that I need to get them lessons!

Jailynn Loves To Ice Skate!!

Jordyn has wanted to go Ice Skating again for the longest time. She loves it. Ivy also had a great time!

JonMarc skated his litttle heart out and is exhausted!

Jordyn is tired and ready to go home after 2 &1/2 hours of skating nonstop!

Jailynn wants to keep on Skating! She is not tired at all!

This is where Noah played while everyone was on the Ice.

I've wanted to stop by and "meet" your family since you left a comment on my blog back in (gulp) October. Thank you for the Purvis book reference...we did get that book recently and feel some glimmer of hope that we can get through some of our "issues" here with ideas from this book. It's crazy- you read and read and read to prepare; but until you know what you are dealing with, it's very difficult to sort out what is pertinent and what isn't and keep the good stuff in the front of your mind. Best wishes for your beautiful family and all that you are working on right now...you sound like an incredibly busy lady :) God bless, Jennifer in DE

Good to hear from you...The kids look great and love the pictures.
We haven;t been attending LP church anymore. We have been attending Lakeshore church in Rockwall but we still are involved in some of the LP adoption stuff.
Have a Happy Holidays!

Wow...what a great time! I am so impressed with anyone who can ice skate! I think it is so hard.

I love these kinds of memories...have a blessed Christmas.

The rest of our family

In case anyone was curious: Here are som pictures of my oldest son, Joey and his family. Joey and Kym have three children: my beloved grandbabies: Hayden 4yrs old, Noah 22 months old, and Phoenix 9 months old. We have been helping Joey and Kym get on their feet and they have been living with us since December. They are now able to get their own place and will move out in April. I will miss them and miss the babies. I will just have to babysit!

Thank You! Thank you to everyone for helping us to bring Jailynn home! We are hoping to travel sometime this month and still need to raise money.
